Position Title: Senior Transportation Analyst

Minimum Requirements:  Some college in engineering, city planning or related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with course work in business, Engineering, Planning, Public Administration or related field preferred.  Experience in planning, design, constructing bicycle or pedestrian facilities preferred.

Position Duties:  Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Coordinator - under general direction. Is responsible for coordinating, planning and monitoring bicycle and pedestrian planning efforts. Coordinates independent city and NCDOT projects for funding and design. Conducts research, analyzes complex statistical data, develops planning timetables, evaluates systems policies and procedures and makes recommendations to achieve goals and objectives. Responsible for coordination and communication with multiple departments, regional planning agencies, elected officials and the general public.
