Minimum Requirements: 1 year of relevant experience, preferably including at least 3 months of experience wastewater treatment operation. HS graduate (or GED), preferably supplemented by related technical courses. Grade II Wastewater Certification within 2 years of hire. Contact telephone and A Valid NC Class "C" Driver's License.Will be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Position Duties:
Operates and maintains on an assigned shift, treatment plant equipment such as filters, thickeners, pumps, belt presses, blowers, digesters, and other activated sludge equipment; performs standard chemicals and physical test; records meter readings and makes report of operations.
