Position Title: Lake Lynn Community Center Intern
Position Availability: Summer 2009
Hourly Rate: $7.25/hr.

Location: Lake Lynn Community Center 7921 Ray Road
Position Description: The internship position will include responsibilities associated with the operation of a community center for the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department. The intern will work with several programs operated through the community center, including summer camps, youth athletic leagues, and Track-Out camps, and assist office staff with daily administrative duties (including front desk work, budget and payroll observation, special events coordination, scheduling of staff and programs, etc). Working with children and experience in the field of parks and recreation is preferred. Working hours may include travel time with staff to learn about the entire City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department and how it operates.
