Position Title: Korean Instructor Closing Date: Until Filled Hourly Rate: Varies Department:Parks and Recreation Division: Recreation - English as a Second Language Program Location: Various Community Centers
Position Description: Responsible for teaching a Korean class by ensuring that all participants get an opportunity to learn and practice the Korean language at basic and intermediate levels. Classes are offered for adults. The instructor may be asked to help promote our programs in general, as well as helping with translation of various documents and interpretation at different venues.
Required skills: " Experience teaching Korean in a classroom environment or equivalent education
" Native Korean speaker preferred
" English and Korean fluency
" Comfort working with people from different ethnic, national, cultural, social-economic backgrounds
" Enjoys teaching: patient, good listener, able to generate enthusiasm for classroom activities, able to assess and respond to learners' needs, interests, and levels of understanding
" Must have access to reliable transportation to get to work Job description:

" Contact students about classes, when necessary
" Help promote class/classes in the community.
