Minimum Requirements:    BA in computer science, information systems, mathematics or equivalent required. Prefer 10 years experience as an IT professional. Experience in Oracle Applications Server administration and installation, Web Logic server administration and installation, Linux scripting, Oracle customer care and billing. Oracle management tools, database 8, 8i, 9i, 10 and 11g, Oracle RAC and GRID monitoring configuration and installation. NetApp storage, snapshots, snapclone and NFS. RedHat Linux OS, (64 and 32 bit).  Prefer stronge Oracle database experience with PeopleSoft applications, in depth knowledge of OEM/GRID.

Position Duties:    Responsible for all functions associated with the efficient design, implementation and maintenance of Oracle databases for the PeopleSoft, CC&B and SOA applications. Primary roles include the implementation, architecture, backup,  recovery and monitoring of an extremely large Oracle database layout leveraging both 11g and 10g RAC technology. Plans and oversees the integration of consistent database administration methodologies and documentation on a department wide basis. Provides support to all IT development staff in managing their solutions. Administering software to include SOA, BI-Publisher, BPE: communication packs, CC&B applications and supporting the database.
