Permit and Development Portal
The Permit and Development Portal provides information and records relating to land development and construction in the City of Raleigh. Please visit our portal to obtain information on:
- Certificates of Occupancy
- Certificates of Completeness
- Types of Permits (find more about types of permit)
- Permit information
- Zoning violations
- Inspection information
- Code Enforcement
You can find these records using the Permit Portal Records Guide. Please note the availability of documents for download can vary depending on project date and type. Records that are available on the Permit and Development Portal will not be provided in any other way.
How to Request More Information
For record requests regarding building plans or other related documents, please submit a records request via our online request form. This creates a tracking number and helps us to move your request through the system more efficiently.
Schedule an Appointment to Pick Up Mylars
This appointment is for picking up Mylars submitted to the Planning and Development department.
If your project was submitted electronically, the approved plans are available for download to the person(s) listed as a project contact via the Permit and Development Portal.
Mylars can be picked up from the Customer Service Center on the 4th floor of One Exchange Plaza, Monday through Thursday (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.). You can schedule your appointment by choosing from the available times and services. Fees for approved paper plans must be paid prior to pick up. An appointment may be canceled due to the availability of plans.
